NEW - Instructions to verify your paper is IEEE Xplore compliant have been added below.

Prospective authors are invited to submit a (approximately) 50-word abstract (for publication in the conference program) and a 1000-word summary of their paper, or a full paper, (for review by the program committee) for consideration as lecture or poster presentation. Both lecture and poster submissions have the same value and presentation format is only chosen for suitability.

Submission is in electronic form via email to submit@.naecon.org
Acceptable formats for both the 1000-word short paper and the camera-ready paper are: PDF,  Microsoft Word (.doc).

A cover sheet of the camera-ready paper should identify and include information about the contact author (name, mailing address, phone, Fax, and email). Authors should obtain company and government clearances prior to submission of papers.

All 1000-word summary papers will be reviewed by the Program Committee and will be judged with respect to their quality, originality, and relevance.  Upon acceptance of the paper, a full camera-ready paper should be prepared and submitted electronically via the conference website. It will be published in the conference proceedings, conditional upon the author's advance registration.  Nominations will be solicited for the NAECON’s Innovation Leadership Award , and selection and conferring of the best student paper award, and other newly established awards will be celebrated. Abstracts, summary papers, and camera-ready papers must be received by the following dates to be considered or published.

It is REQUIRED for NAECON that all PDF submissions be IEEE Xplore compliant.

NOTE: If your file does not meet Xplore compliance, it will NOT be published and will be removed from the NAECON 2008 Proceedings CDROM and the IEEE Xplore system.

To help you meet these new requirements, you must FIRST check to ensure that your PDF file is compliant by using the IEEE PDF eXpress system BEFORE you submit your paper to the conference final submission web site.

1. Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress web site: http://216.228.1.34/pdfexpress/log.asp

2. Use this conference ID: naecon08x

3. Use PDF eXpress to check or create your PDF file

4. Once you have a GOOD PDF file, return to the NAECON 2008 final submission www.naecon.org and upload your final submission.

Please keep in mind that checking your PDF file for compliance and submitting your final paper for publication are 2 separate procedures.

After you have finished using the IEEE PDF eXpress system to either check your file for compliance or to generate a compliant file, MAKE SURE to return to the NAECON 2008 final submission web site www.naecon.org (submissions) and upload your compliant final submission.

5. Your completed IEEE copyright form must be received by June 27, 2008 23:59 (GMT -0700).
